10/26/2012 - Peterson AFB, Colo.  -- Air Force Space Command is celebrating its 30th Anniversary! Here is a significant milestone from the command's history ...

Since its reactivation in Sept. 1991, 20th Air Force experienced four major command identities. After one year in Strategic Air Command and another year in Air Combat Command, 20th Air Force was moved under Air Force Space Command in October 1993 - moving from Vandenberg AFB, Calif., to its current home here at F. E. Warren. December 2009 marked the final transition of 20th Air Force to the newly created Air Force Global Strike Command.
